New Board Members Elected to Anoka-Ramsey Community College Coon Rapids Campus Foundation

In August elections, the Anoka-Ramsey Community College Coon Rapids Foundation elected four new members to their board of directors: Ryan Carlson, John Jung, Randy Leja and Eric Olson.

Ryan Carlson, a resident of Ramsey, is a vice president and senior treasury management sales consultant with Wells Fargo.  He has been with Wells Fargo since 2003.  He holds a bachelor of arts in Communications degree and a minor in Business from Bethel University. His volunteer experience includes being vice president of communications for the Bethel Business and Economics Association and Habitat for Humanity.

John Jung, a resident of Elk River, is the area director of career solutions for Doherty Staffing Services.  Jung holds a degree in Aeronautical Studies and Mass Communication from the University of North Dakota. His volunteer experience includes president of the Anoka Area Chamber of Commerce and coaching youth baseball and football.

Randy Leja is the director of home health and hospice for Mary T. Inc. Leja holds a degree in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire. He is a member of the Minnesota Homecare Association, and a past president of the Duluth East Athletic Association and past activities director for Holy Rosary School in Duluth.

Eric Olson is the owner and president of Speedro Imaging in Fridley.  Olson holds a bachelor of science in Business Administration and a minor in Finance from Moorhead State University. He is active in the community serving as board chair for Anoka County United;  board member of the Twin Cities North Chamber of Commerce, Minnesota Metro north Tourism Bureau, and President of the Minnesota Hockey Officials Association.

The new members have committed to the foundation’s mission to build friendships and funds to enrich students' lives. Foundation members are charged with promoting awareness and understanding of the college and its educational, cultural and developmental value to the surrounding communities.

According to the foundation by-laws, directors are elected for a three-year term and are eligible to serve two consecutive three-year terms.
