The fall program schedule for the newly named Professional and Workforce Training (PWT) is now arriving in the mailboxes of more than 60,000 residents in the north metro and East Central Minnesota regions. The schedule is also available at area workforce centers.
“The recent alignment of Anoka Technical College and Anoka-Ramsey Community College has allowed our respective Professional and Workforce Training departments to merge and offer more, new and expanded non-credit programs,” says Professional and Workforce Training Executive Director, Jamie Barthel. “And this new fall schedule highlights all of those programs.”
In the schedule is a wide sampling of non-credit courses and development programs for individuals in the areas of:
- Health & Wellness
- Manufacturing Technology and Industrial Engineering
- Information Technology & Computer Applications
- Personal Interest
- Professional & Organizational Development
“Any training we offer can be customized for employers,” adds Barthel. “Collectively, Anoka Technical College and Anoka-Ramsey Community College have been providing education for more than 40 years so we have a lot of expertise of offer.”
“I encourage people to watch for the schedule in their mail boxes,” Barthel concludes. “If they didn’t get a schedule, but would like to, I encourage them to contact us to receive one.”
