Ramsey Lions Club Presents $25,000 to College Foundation

May 01, 2014

During Anoka-Ramsey Community College Foundation Spring Presidential Scholarship Luncheon in April, Anoka-Ramsey Community College President Kent Hanson (left) and the Foundation Executive Director Cheryl Kish gratefully accepted a $25,000 check to the college foundation scholarship fund from Tom Kujawa (second from right) and Pat Crowe on behalf of the Ramsey Lions Club.  The Ramsey Lions have been generous donors to the college foundation scholarship fund since 2001 and have provided $187,000 to support scholarships to Anoka-Ramsey students at the Coon Rapids Campus.

“The Presidential Scholarship Luncheon recognizes scholarship recipients and donors and allows donors the opportunity to meet deserving scholarship recipients and hear about the student’s educational and career goals and how the scholarship is assisting them in reaching those goals, said Anoka-Ramsey President Kent Hanson. “It also allows the scholarship recipients to thank the donors for the generous support they provide.”
