College Scholarship Fundraising Event Breaks Record in Attendance and Profit

March 04, 2014

The results of the Anoka-Ramsey Community College Cambridge Campus Foundation fundraising event in January are in.

A record number of guests attended Scholardazzle at Spectacular Events in Isanti and contributed a record profit of more $46,000 to provide scholarship support to many students.

The evening included dinner, live music, games, live, silent and cake auctions, and the chance to win table service and champagne from the foundation’s board of directors. Other auctions included gift baskets from the Mall of America and others, Timberwolves tickets, electronics, hotel stays and much more.

Cambridge-based business, Outdoor Edge, a long-time supporter of the event, supplied his-and-hers Rossignol EVO First ski packages. Chilson Jewelers, also in Cambridge, donated a 14k white gold, black and white diamond pendant.

Scholarships change the lives of many deserving students. For more information about scholarships and scholarship events at Anoka-Ramsey Community College, visit

The cake shown here, donated by Roger Anderson, was a part of a cake auction that added more than $1000 to the record-breaking $46,000 raised for scholarships at the Anoka-Ramsey Community College Cambridge Campus Foundation’s Scholardazzle fundraising event in January.
