Environmental Science students at Anoka-Ramsey Community College Coon Rapids Campus will host several local, political candidates for a discussion about environmental issues that directly impact the local area.
The public is encouraged to attend these student-led and moderated events.
Tuesday, Oct. 16

Wednesday, Oct. 17
4 to 5:15 pm
Candidates attending: Jim Abeler, State Representative, Anoka; Melissa Hortman, State Representative, Brooklyn Park; and Jim Weaver, Anoka City Council
“We are hoping people will join us for these student-organized and implemented events," says Environmental Science Faculty member, Terry Teppen. "It promises to be an enlightening and informational discussion as we count down the days toward the November 6 election.”
