Eligibility

Faculty must have:
1. Fully retired.
2. Provided a minimum of 10 years of service to Anoka-Ramsey Community College.
3. Completed a minimum of 25 years of service to their profession.
Administrators must have:
1. Fully retired.
2. Provided a minimum of 10 years of service to Anoka-Ramsey Community College.
3. Completed a minimum of 25 years of service to their profession.

Staff must have:
1. Fully retired.
2. Provided a minimum of 10 years of service to Anoka-Ramsey Community College.
3. Completed a minimum of 25 years of service to their profession.

Procedures

• All eligible retired college employees become Distinguished Retirees upon full retirement from the college.
• The Human Resources Office shall identify all eligible faculty, administrators or staff each year and forward their names to the Office of the President.
• The Human Resources Office shall maintain the list of current Distinguished Retirees.

Privileges

• Receipt of special campus publications, announcements, and event invitations, as determined by the President.
• Invitations to participate in public ceremonies, commencement, processions, theatre productions, athletic events, and convocations.
• Participation in appropriate campus seminars, colloquia, lectures.
• Use of Anoka-Ramsey Community College recreational/social facilities in accordance with college policy.
• Library privileges.
• Permanent I.D. card with designation of Distinguished Retiree status.
