Department Description

The Economics Department at Anoka-Ramsey is focused on developing of the analytical skills needed by leaders in business and government. Equally important to the Department of Economics is educating students to become informed citizens who can be active participants in their communities and the world. The courses offered by the department focus on the principles governing markets and market behavior as well as the structure and theory underlying state, national, and international economic interactions.
