The Anoka-Ramsey Community College Men’s Basketball team defeated Minnesota West Community and Technical College 100-64, Saturday, Jan. 23.
It was the third time this season that Anoka-Ramsey scored 100 points or more.
Breaking their two-game losing skid, Golden Rams jumped out to an early lead in the opening minutes and didn’t look back.
The team shot 55.2 percent for the game (37-67), 48.1 percent from the three-point line (13-27), and 81.3 percent from the free-throw line (13-16). They also recorded 13 steals in forcing 23 Minnesota West turnovers.
Quincy Bethea Jr. put in an amazing performance, scoring 34 points to go along with eight rebounds, seven assists and four steals. Trey Scott scored 25 points, Ben Snyder had 14 points and Julian Harris scored a career-high 11 points.
Anoka-Ramsey improves their record to 9-10 on the season, 2-3 in the MCAC.
The Golden Rams will play an away game against Rochester Community and Technical College, Wednesday, Jan. 27, 8 p.m.
