 The IT Girl

Based on the 1927 Paramount picture It, this jazz-infused musical is a tribute to romantic
comedies of the silent film era.  Betty Lou Spence is a smart spunky shop clerk working in the
lingerie deparment at Waltham's Department Store.  Soon After Waltham's launches an
advertising contest to find a chaismatic girl with "IT", Betty catches the eye of Jonathan
Waltham, heir to the family fortune.  What follows is a roller-coaster ride of comedy, music
and romance.  The music sparkles with bright and catchy melodies.  The dialogue crackles
with wit.  The comedy is fast-paced and physical, evoking the slapstick style of silent films.
Join us for an evening of toe-tapping, side-splitting, flamboyant flapper fun!  Dont' miss IT!
