Welcome to CCLibrary.

Welcome to CCLibrary. The library is the place to come for help in beginning the research process, locating and evaluating online & print resources, accessing materials through interlibrary loan, viewing a video or checking out a book. Located on the lower level of the Campus Center, the Cambridge Campus library offers space for quiet study, study rooms for working together with friends, computer workstations for searching local and online resources and listening and viewing areas.

Books

Search MnPALS PLUS Library Catalog (also includes FOD) or MNPals Library Catalog for books, dvds, cds, etc. Can't find what you need?  Don't hesitate--ASK!  Email Reference Assistance for off-campus Cambridge Campus students!
Also try East Central Regional Library for non-academic topics, MnLINK (the Minnesota Library Information Network) for statewide access or WorldCat for international library access after you have exhausted local sources.

Materials selection

Cambridge Campus library acquires materials in a variety of formats to support the campus curriculum, adhering to the American Library Association's Policy on Intellectual Freedom. As part of the larger Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system, the Cambridge Campus library continues to develop collections in Minnesota county history, Winter ecology, and Art (supporting not only the campus curriculum, but helping to promote resources for a lively East Central Minnesota art community).

Loan Policy

A current student ID is required to check out materials, place holds, request InterLibrary Loans or access the periodical indexes from home. The cost of the photo ID is included in registration for all currently enrolled students.

Community members are welcome to use the Cambridge Campus library, but must present their East Central Regional Library card to check out materials.

Books and CDs are checked out for three wks, videos (not all are available for check-out) for seven (7) days and most reserve materials for two (2) hrs. in the library only. Reference  materials and periodicals may not be checked out, but users may scan or photocopy information as needed. There is a $35 replacement charge and a $10 processing fee for each unreturned item.

*RENEW materials online!  Click on >>CCLibrary catalog  >>MnPALS  >>Your Borrowing Record (top blue banner).  Login using your barcode & pw (last name)  >>Loans  >>highlighted #  >>Renew all (middle blue banner).  (Check date to be sure renewal has worked).  Problems?  Call Cambridge Campus library (# below).
