Come see Anoka-Ramsey Community College Theatre Department production: "The IT Girl" - Based on the 1927 Paramount picture "It", this jazz-infused musical is a tribute to romantic comedies of the silent film era. Betty Lou Spence is a smart spunky shop clerk working in the lingerie department at Waltham's Department Store. Soon after Waltham's launches an advertsing contest to find a charismatic girl with "IT", Betty catches the eye of Jonathan Waltham, heir to the family fortune. What follows is a roller-coaster ride of comedy, music and romance. The music sparkles with bright and catchy melodies. The dialogue crackles with wit. The comedy is fast-paced and physical, evoking the slapstick style of silent films. Join us for an evening of toe-tapping, side-splitting, flamboyant flapper fun! Don't miss IT! - Directed by Scott Ford - Students and staff receive two free tickets - tickets are $8.00 for the general public. Come and enjoy the show!!!
