College celebrates 50 years of transforming lives with a Campus Showcase Sept. 17

Join Anoka-Ramsey Community College in celebrating 50 Years of Transforming Lives at a 50th Anniversary Celebration:
Campus Showcase
Exhibits, Performances, Tours, Refreshments
Thursday, Sept. 17, 2015
3 to 7 pm

Coon Rapids Campus
Enjoy liquid nitrogen ice cream from the Chemistry Department, a health fair with health assessments and hand massages from the Nursing Department as well as:
- Music Performances
- Theatre (Performing Arts) Activities
- Art Demonstrations
- Biology Exhibits
- Dramatic Readings
- History Displays
- Health & Wellness Center Activities
- Natural Area Tour & History
- College Tours
- Appetizers & Desserts
“We hope everyone will join us at the Campus Showcase!” said President Kent Hanson. “Our faculty and staff are excited to share the great work in their respective area. The event is intended to be both educational and fun as part of our yearlong celebration of the college’s 50th anniversary!”
More celebrations throughout the year
After the Campus Showcase event, Anoka-Ramsey will continue with a series of smaller celebrations at both the Coon Rapids and Cambridge campuses concluding with a 5K Fun Run, Saturday, April 30, 2016 at the Cambridge Campus.
Community members are also encouraged to share their Anoka-Ramsey stories, and hear other Anoka-Ramsey stories by visiting AnokaRamsey.edu/50.
