Coon Rapids Campus hosts Health Fair, Wednesday, Nov. 30

The Anoka-Ramsey Community College Coon Rapids Campus will host a Health Fair on Wednesday, Nov. 30, 11 am to 2 pm. Sponsored by the Student Nurses Association, this event is free and the public is encouraged to attend.

There will be many entertaining and educational activities for the entire duration of the fair, including: eye checks, blood pressure checks, BMI checks, CPR training, fire safety, games and prizes, and more.

Groups of Nursing students with assist the various vendors attending such as: The Nucleus Clinic, Pearle Vision, local firefighters, local police officers, and more. 

"Our cohort of Nursing students at Anoka-Ramsey Community College have worked tirelessly over the past couple of months to bring this Health fair to the members of our community," said James Johnson, a Nursing student who assisted in the health fair. "This free event will help bring together members of our community from all ages to learn more about their own health and what can be done to improve their current health status. This will be a fun event for the whole family!"
