Policy 3B.1 Academic Program Improvement

Program Review

The college shall review its academic programs on a rotating basis for the purpose of academic planning and improvement.

History: 

10.1995 Amended

01.2004 Minnesota State repealed Board policy 3.11 and combined it with Board policy 3.10.

07.2004 Updated inventory: removed Administrative Secretary AAS, Computer Technology Specialist AAS, General Accounting Certificate, and Liberal/General Studies AS. Edited titles. Noted suspended programs.

09.2004 Added Network Security Certificate

03.2005 Updated the Program Inventory list and added the following sections: Purpose of Program Review, Programs Defined, and Timeline

05.2006 Updated “Current MnSCU Academic Program Inventory for Anoka-Ramsey Community College” section

03.2010 Moved procedural language to Procedure 3B.1/11 added overview of program review.

07.2017 Technical changes, MnSCU/Office of the Chancellor to Minnesota State

10.2018 Updated hyperlink to Minnesota State Board policy; removed statement about submitting an annual summary of academic program review activity to Minnesota State
