Anoka-Ramsey Community College to host author Anika Fajardo in Minnesota Writers Series virtual event Jan. 28

Anoka-Ramsey Community College is hosting its Minnesota Writers Series virtually on Jan. 28, 2021 at 7 pm with Anika Fajardo, author of Magical Realism for Non-Believers.
Anika Fajardo was born in Columbia and raised in Minnesota. She is the author of Magical Realism for Non-Believers, a Minnesota Book Awards 2020 finalist and winner of the City Pages Best of 2020, and her middle-grade novel, What If a Fish, was recently published by Simon & Schuster. She makes her home in Minneapolis, where she works as a writer, editor and teacher.
The Minnesota Writers Series gives guests the opportunity to hear first-hand from writers about their work and creative process. Over the years, the event has featured some of Minnesota’s most exciting and accomplished writers.
On Jan. 28, Fajardo will read from and discuss her work and guests will have the opportunity to ask questions of the author.
