Anoka-Ramsey honored for sustainability efforts

Anoka-Ramsey Community College was honored by the city of Coon Rapids for its sustainability efforts.

The college was given an Earth Month Sustainability Award during the April 1, 2025 meeting of the Coon Rapids City Council. The award recognizes the college’s work to promote sustainability through recent projects including a bee lawn, prairie grass garden and electric vehicle charging stations.
