- Learn about in-demand jobs.
- Hear from employers in the field.
- Learn about college and community resources available to help you pay for college.
- Tour campus, classrooms and labs.
- Experience firsthand what it's like to work in IT or health care.
"Anoka-Ramsey is proud to offer a variety of career and technical programs that lead to jobs with high pay that are in demand and require high-skill training,” said Shannon Kirkeide, dean of academic and community outreach.
Anoka-Ramsey is hosting the events in partnership with Central Minnesota Jobs and Training Services (CMJTS) and Anoka County Job Training Center-CareerForce as well as many local employer partners.
“We know employers in our community are thirsty for workers in IT and health care right now and we have structured these events to paint a picture of jobs in those fields,” said Kirkeide. “Those who attend will learn not only through hands-on experiences in our classrooms and labs, but also hear from Anoka-Ramsey alumni, faculty and community employers about wages, job options, affordable degree pathways, and qualities that make a great employee."
