College Faculty Reading and Musical Performances Sept. 21

Anoka-Ramsey Community College’s English and Music Departments invite the public to a free Faculty Reading & Recital on Friday Sept. 21, 6:30 pm at the Banfill-Locke Center for the Arts in Fridley, Minn.
The event will begin at 6:30 pm with a tour of Banfill-Locke and a reception featuring drinks and snacks. At 7 pm Anoka-Ramsey faculty will perform musical selections and read original poetry from both published works and works-in-progress.
Performers will include writers: Jasmin Rae Ziegler, Katharine Rauk and Paige Riehl. Musicians will include: Melissa Bergstrom, Sam Bergstrom and Jason Vanselow.
“This event is a fantastic way to celebrate the work of faculty members from both the English and Music departments by bringing poetry and music into harmony,” said Rachel MacDonald, college English Faculty member.
