My Story, Your Story, Our Story mural unveiled at Anoka-Ramsey’s Coon Rapids Campus
December 14, 2020
What began as a grant proposal written over two years ago to the Minnesota State Arts Board is now proudly displayed on Anoka-Ramsey Community College’s Coon Rapids Campus.
The "My Story, Your Story, Our Story" mural was developed with students, faculty, staff and community members.
After the final panels of the mural were installed on campus this fall, Anoka-Ramsey had hopes of celebrating with the community that helped bring this piece of art to campus. With the health and safety of our students, faculty and staff a priority an in-person celebration will have to wait.
Learn about the project and help celebrate the community that we are and aspire to be through a virtual ribbon cutting with college President Kent Hanson, Art Committee chair and instructor, Rachel Breen and muralist Greta McClain.
Special thank you to the mural program mentees and the team at Good Space Murals. This activity was made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
