“The Scholardazzle event helps the foundation immensely to meet the needs of our students,” said Executive Director of Professional and Workforce Training and Foundations Jamie Barthel. “Thanks to our community, we have been able to raise the bar every year to provide more and more eligible students scholarships. We are especially fortunate to see new sponsors and more community involvement than ever before.”
The upcoming Scholardazzle event on Jan. 25, 2019 at the Spirit River Community Center will raise a large part of the scholarship money the foundation will award. Scholardazzle guests are treated to the best in local food, music, auctions, raffles and more.
The first year the foundation hosted Scholardazzle in 2002, it raised more than $1,800 for student scholarships. The 2017 event raised more than $70,000. Since 2006, Scholardazzle has raised $891,225.81 to support educational opportunities at the Cambridge Campus.
The CCCC Foundation would also like to thank First Bank & Trust for being a $10,000 presenting sponsor at this year’s event.
