Student Experience

Two Female Students in Science Lab Working with Microscopes
Nine Anoka-Ramsey students collaborated with undergraduate researchers through a nation-wide research network to identify a novel gene in fruit flies. Networks like this are helping Anoka-Ramsey students connect to new discoveries and opportunities to build futures in STEM.

Students joined scientists from across the country to present their research at the Annual Entomology Society of America National Conference in Portland, Ore., where more than 3,000 scientists from all over the country gathered for presentations and discussions of cutting-edge research about insects.
Undergraduate research experiences are critical for student in science. To learn how to do science, you actually have to DO science.
