Student Senate

About Student Senate
As part of the governing body, members serve as the voice for students on campus. Student Senate listens to the student body's feedback and advocates on their behalf. Joining the student senate builds leadership and problem-solving skills. Senators run elections and help choose students to serve on college committees. Senators attend state and national events for student leaders to bring ideas back to campus. These roles help build experience on job resumes and transfer applications. Members may also qualify for a leadership stipend of $50 to $500 each semester.
