Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society

The Phi Theta Kappa honor society recognizes the academic excellence of two-year college students internationally.

How to Join

Members of Phi Theta Kappa gain access to scholarships, leadership opportunities, and a network of students focused on success in college and beyond. Anoka-Ramsey offers chapters on both the Coon Rapids and Cambridge Campuses. If a student meets the following criteria, they will receive an email invitation to their college email to join. Invitations are emailed to eligible students about three weeks into the fall and spring semester (usually in September for fall semester or February or spring semester).

This will enable you to receive a special notation on your transcript, honorary regalia at graduation and access to exclusive scholarships. At the time your degree is posted, if your cumulative GPA is 3.0 or higher on your degree audit, Phi Theta Kappa will be noted on your official transcript in the degree area.

You may also choose to become an active member, which is an official member who attends Phi Theta Kappa meetings, works on Phi Theta Kappa scholarly projects and attends Phi Theta Kappa service events/projects. This is a great extracurricular to add to your resume!
